Our Raffia collection has been crafted from the finest natural fibres, sources from the veins of the raffia palm, native to Madagascar. This material with its rich texture and subtle variations in colour exudes an organic depth that speaks to its natural origins.
Each raffia fibre is hand-crafted on traditional looms using age old techniques. The woven raffia is expertly laminated onto backing material and wrapped around the furniture frames, resulting in a finish that is both tactile and visually striking, To ensure durability the pieces are lightly coated with protective lacquer, preserving their unique charm for years to come.
