Palm Project
Envisioning a home that seamlessly combined their unique style with the space's solid bones and untapped potential, the property owners enlisted the expertise of Designer Polly Gilman from Polly & Co, alongside Architect Ivan Gastaldon. Together they transformed the existing home into a space that seamlessly married sophistication with functionality.
The project evolved into a comprehensive renovation that bordered on a complete overhaul. One of the key transformations involved extending the back to accommodate a downstairs study and an upstairs additional robe and ensuite.
The exterior received a finesse with the incorporation of a graceful curve, softening the overall facade and beckoning visitors to the front door.
Ivan's ingenious planning also revitalized the entry point, introducing a tennis court gazebo and artfully breaking the path with steps, garden beds, and greenery—a thoughtful touch that promises a more enjoyable approach to the property. The indoor/outdoor connection, both at the front and back, creates an entertainer's paradise.
A pivotal enhancement to the front facade came in the form of a new sliding door system, establishing a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces and crafting a sunroom at the front. The addition of a lift further refined the entry, with the Boyd Blue Clifton Console now warmly welcoming guests into the transformed home.
Beyond structural changes, a shift from grey tiles to the warmth of soft timber flooring marked a significant aesthetic transformation. Meticulously hand-painted cabinetry by Wyer and Craw, adorned in soft neutral hues, harmonized with marble floors and tiles in the bathrooms, creating an atmosphere of understated luxury and individuality in every room.
Entertainment Oasis
Every space within the residence was thoughtfully furnished including a spectacular garage which shares space with a subterranean media, games room, and bar—a true party hub within the confines of this impeccably redesigned home.
