GemLife’s Palmwoods Country Club is a refined interpretation of a luxury mountain lodge, tailored to its stunning subtropical setting on the Sunshine Coast.

The design philosophy behind the club blends modern sustainability with timeless architectural elements, ensuring it harmonises with the local climate and natural surroundings. The overall aesthetic channels the rugged beauty of the region while maintaining an air of understated luxury.

The grand entrance establishes a strong visual impact with high ceilings and wallpaper depicting lush tropical fauna, reflecting the area’s rich biodiversity.

This subtle yet luxurious feature sets the tone for the entire space, welcoming visitors with a serene and nature-inspired atmosphere.

The architectural design takes full advantage of the club’s prime location, with expansive windows and open sightlines that frame the lush greenery and waterway views.

Green and brown hues dominate the palette, with deep timber finishes providing a warm, earthy foundation, complemented by soft green accents throughout the furnishings and décor. These colours echo the natural surroundings, reinforcing the lodge’s connection to the subtropical landscape while providing a comforting, grounded feel.

Communal spaces, such as the lounge and dining areas, are bathed in natural light and furnished with an elegant blend of contemporary design and rustic touches. The open-plan layout ensures that the organic materials and rich textures can shine, creating a seamless transition between the indoor comfort of the lodge and the natural beauty of the environment.
